Pantone aims to boost knowledge with colour management seminars

Pantone is targeting print specifiers, publishers, advertising agencies and designers with a nationwide colour management seminar tour.

In conjunction with pre-press and colour consultancy and supplier Bodoni Systems, Pantone will hold six half-day sessions to help them "understand the colour workflow".

"Everyday we see designers failing to get the colour they want. Pantone plays a central role in colour communication for all graphic designers and it is in our interest that the processes they use result in accurate results," said Pantone's Paul Graham.

The courses are intended to help users employ the ISO 12647-2 printing standard and ICC profiles to achieve consistently accurate results.

The seminars will take place between 27 and 29 January in Manchester, Birmingham and London.
